Our Plan Sponsor and Emerging Manager Conference, now in its 12th year, has evolved into a leading industry forum for a wide-ranging dialogue on issues of importance to emerging managers, plan sponsors and others interested in the unique and by now demonstrated potential of emerging managers.
From our first half-day meeting in 1993 with a handful of funded managers at GE Asset Management's Stamford, Connecticut headquarters to our most recent event in Scottsdale, Arizona, it is clear that emerging managers continue to move from the industry's periphery to mainstream components of many institutional plans sponsors' asset allocation and overall investment strategy.
Today, over 150 invited participants, including funded Progress managers, Progress staff, trustees, key investment professionals representing Progress clients, pension consultants, brokers and invited industry speakers, all gather for two days of learning, sharing, dialogue, debate and networking.
Our conference truly showcases the best our industry has to offer—talented, diverse investment professionals passionate about emerging managers and our abilities, and the investment and policy issues of today.
